Do not build this industrial park in pristine rainforest. If not for the sake of the residents that live in the valley then for the flora and fauna that has been here since the beginning of time.

Residents have purchased properties in accordance with standards and regulations administered by CRC. The zonings, restrictiins and fees. To change the rules, standards and decorum by which accepted and pay rates should be maintained or compensated.
Apart from proposed developments that are, by resident objections, apparently unacceptable, CRC will benefit by increased rates and fees at the expense if those they have deceived.

Regardless of Council’s claims they will be a one term Council if this is approved. Mr Flanagan should be ashamed of himself for his obvious and serious conflict of interest.

Builder's lining their pockets. Cairns Council should look after the residents. Redlynch will end up like Townsville. Too many houses and no one can sell.

The traffic situation on Redlynch Intake Road opposite Redlynch State College is already a congested, dangerous logjam every afternoon, with long lines, speeding trucks and tourists, and many children crossing the road or riding bikes. The car park at Redlynch State College is already inadequate for current size of the school and many cars are forced to park on verges and vacant blocks. These issues will only be intensified by a glut of new residents shoehorned into this precinct. It is understandable the developer wants to make use of this beautiful land - however greed (typified by the sheer size and amount of houses shoved in here) should never come before the safety of thousands of children and motorists using this area.

Way to small and the worst spot. Redlynch is beautiful but it’s starting to look like LEGO land. The valley is beautiful but every 5th house looks the same. It really is like a LEGO city. How about making them 1acr or larger so new people will move into the are who want to purchase some land and not move to the other side of cairns to buy it. Larger blocks are very appealing and so very limited in the area. Some people would like a larger block but there is only near the rocks and across the road and they are very hard to come across. Not everyone wants to live in condensed living in a place with one road in and out and near the school that’s not good planning at all the traffic is already busy there. Think about before turning it into a huge area that looks like a commission area in a big city that no one wants to live in or drive through. The blocks near the red beret may as well be a block of units.

Will Redlynch have more infrastructure? Schools, roads, public transport, parks, shopping areas??? Flooding issues!! . Not saying no housing but Redlynch need infrastructure to handle this sort of progress.
