I’ve know Mr Grimes since 1984. He’s always has been a class act and a great human being. I have allot of respect for him in every aspect of life. He loves kids and always is the ultimate professional with kids. He would’ve a huge loss to the Westerly School System!!! Keep him the kids love him. He deserves this position that he’s worked for his whole life. Thank you.

Something is not quite right about this sudden secretive decision. Both Mr. Grimes and the Westerly taxpayers deserve more respect. Students and parents support Mr. Grimes, and their preferences should carry a great deal of weight in regard to retaining Todd Grimes in his present position.

MR. GRIMES IS LOVED BY STUDENTS AND PARENTS. We are all blindsided, Mr. Grimes specifically. I’ve never seen a principal so involved and invested in his students. He is a good man and a great principal.

Mr. Grimes is one of the reasons I made it through high school. I was one of students who struggled daily to even get to school. Mr. Grimes took the time to help me straighten out and graduate.

What a shame when people do not realize what a difference one person can make in a child's life. Please let Todd Grimes continue to do the great work he has been doing with and for his students.

I started at Westerly High School the same year Mr Grimes did, and from the first day of school to present, Mr Grimes has been very dedicated to the school. For example he attends most, if not all, of the sporting events at school. He also is very friendly and approachable. No matter what the weather is sunny, cold, rainy, sleet, or high wind, he is outside the school greeting students as they arrive to school.
As of May 12, 2018 no one knows why Mr. Grimes contract was not renewed, and because Westerly Public Schools are public the general public deserves something more than nothing!
Despite this news Mr. Grimes is continuing to do an excellent job.

This is ridiculous! Todd is one of the most kind and caring person on the face of this Earth! He is a great leader for these children... Westerly...get your heads out of your asses! You're gonna lose out if you dismissed him!!
