PRINCIPAL GRIMES MAKES THE DIFFERENCE. He started my daughters Junior year and hope was seen. We moved from out of state for daughter to start freshman year at WMS .... It was the worst ! Then junior year arrived. I drove my completely depressed child ( prior two years not one administrator spoke to her mind you) I see the new WMS principal standing ,smiling , laughing, enjoying welcoming all drop off students to school. He shook their hands and said hello etc ..Who does that ? Principal Grimes does and he continued to do so. My daughter smiled . I cried all the way home for I saw hope for the first time in years on my daughters face . He had open door policy for students . He walked the school to engage with students . He treated my child as if she was important not less than as others had and did . Coupled with the best teachers , for they refused to give up on my child she made it . Not one negative word ever have heard regarding PRINCIPAL GRIMES from any student . So when I heard the latest I shout .... I OBJECT .... I stand and say with all the heartache of the last years and I can still say .... I OBJECT ......I close with Principal Grimes I thank you and know regardless of the politics , closed door chit chat , or personality slights take comfort that egg is on faces that hide for backbones have no strength . It is about time Principals /Teachers have more support instead of being scapegoats for all that is wrong.

Mr Grimes is a principal that cares very much about his students, greeting them every morning as well as checking in on classrooms routinely.

I had Todd as a dean at chariho. He does his job with pride and integrity. He is about the student body. Having him resign would be the wrong move.

Being involved at many schools throughout the district as a parent, volunteer and employee I can say with upmost certainty that Mr. Grimes is top notch. Always present at every school event, greeting students rain or shine and always a smile. It is an utter shame that we have come down to performance based solely on test scores. Take a look at all of the comments on social media, not one negative one regarding Mr. Grimes now that fact should speak volumes!
