When did it become a reason to close a school because it was 'too small' . If the majority of schools had 'smaller' class sizes children would come out better educated. Surely we shud work towards 'smaller' not penalise it

We need to keep small rural schools open otherwise children end up being busses in to the large towns or cities. Hardly good for anyone!

I joined Creaton after having been bullied at my first larger primary school. Creaton was warm and welcoming and all the children played together regardless of age. This school did wonders in building back my confidence, and I couldn’t have asked for a better primary school. It will be a travesty if the council let this school close.

The most amazing inclusive school with a plethora of opportunities for all who attend due to the hard work, diligence and passion of an amazing team of staff.

A small school with a big heart where all the children know each other. As one big happy family. It would be disastrous for the children if they are scattered across numerous schools because of a closure. The answer is to keep the school open and encourage children from other villages to join. Allowances need to be given when approximately half the pupils have special needs. The staff do a wonderful job.
