This school is amazing, it changed my daughters life for the better. It is shortsighted to close it for low numbers, the numbers have fluctuated for years.

I was very surprised to see this petition. I had no idea that there were moves afoot to close Great Creaton Primary School. This would be a travesty. Small rural schools have consistently delivered the best overall results with KS2 SATS and with OfSTED. Pupils from small rural schools consistently do well in later life in both further and higher education and with general job prospects. Do not close another small rural school.

This school benefits the whole community and not just in Creaton. My daughter's school benefits from having "competition" from nearby schools. Also every village benefits in many ways from having its own primary school.

Went to this school in 1989 and left in 1995. Small yet fantastic village school and I have fond memories of my time there.
