Please consider other options, the preschool is a wonderful place for these little ones! I think losing this preschool would be a step back for the children and all of Ballard county!

Please find an alternative. This preschool is a wonderful place with many assets for the first years of our children's education.

The Preschool is definitely an asset to our county. I certainly hope that it is not moved. Such a great place for our little ones to begin their education.

Find another solution to house the board and family focus. Do not disrupt one of the best things in this county. We are envied by other districts for our preschool.

This it's the worst idea ballasts county schools had ever had. If they proceed with this merger my son WILL NOT attend these schools

All three of my girls went to the Preschool and I would be devestated now if I had children there and they moved it. It is perfect where it is.

Over populating the elementary school with preschool students that are receiving a descent education at the time being, will be detrimental to both age groups of children. The schools already can not provide fully to the special needs students, so why consolidate both neuro typical, and non neuro typical children of all ages under one roof to add more strain to the staff, most especially all of the students.

This should not happen to many kids in one building. They little ones would be to scared. And to much traffic. Keep them where they are.

I have twin girls that will start preschool this year. The staff and the environment of the preschool is outstanding. My children are comfortable there and I was more than excited to send them to school but now I'm considering not enrolling them into ballard school at all. Breaks my heart and I believe there has to be another way.

Our little ones deserve the chance to learn and grow in an environment specific to their needs. This is the time they begin to grow into their social skills, and should be able to have time to make a huge transition beginning their school career.

Bad idea! Myself, as well as my siblings and cousins all attended here! Pre-K should stay!

Just because something looks good financially on paper does not mean it is in the best interest of our very small children who are coming to preschool to help with separation anxiety and learning to socialize Parents are always welcome there. It is a slow paced atmosphere where so many children learn to slowly adapt to being away from their families. Children come in there afraid of a flushing toilet and a cafeteria full of about 60 children how would they adjust to very large numbers of children and high volume levels? Children at that age require a lot of gross motor time to develop. I think it is a huge mistake to encorporate the very small children into the fast pace and large number of children. The preschool is a family and everyone is made to feel welcome and involved. Parents feel safe sending their babies there. Someone said recently preschool is unimportant many do not understand all the development delays that are caught and addressed at an early enough age to be addressed and corrected. Many low income children get good well balanced meals and much needed intervention. Children are screened for hearing and eyes. Which are very likely overlooked. Preschool helps in the readiness of kindergarten. Huge jumpstart. PLEASE look into your hearts and reconsider moving them. They need the slow pace of this wonderful place we are so fortunate to have.

I went to preschool in Ballard County and it was the foundation of my learning. I am now about to graduate, Class of '16, with some of the same people I went to preschool with. Please find the money somewhere!

Safety was NEVER a concern when my children attended preschool. I never had to worry. I could not have survived without stop & go. All the staff are there for the kids. Please keep this safe environment.

Both my daughters attended Ballard County preschool years ago. It is the best preschool in the area. It's perfect for our littlest ones to have a school building with a cafeteria, gym, playgrounds, and restrooms with facilities just their size. It will be such a disservice to our youngest students to uproot them. Please let them keep their 'home away from home.' :) Thank you!

Please keep the preschool separate! It is absolutely the best! My son is finishing up his 2 years and I have a little one that will go there in a few years. Everything is wonderful about our preschool from the facility, staff and teachers and also Stop n go daycare which has been great for my family and so convenient. My concern is how are u going to work out recess, lunch time, what if the elementary enrollment is up??? I think it is a huge mistake to combine the schools. Please put our kids first!
