We seniors depend on MW pool for exercise. I go to water aerobics 3 days a week. Being disabled and on a tight budget, I am able to afford to go and the pool is kept at a comfortable temperature for me to exercise to keep me moving. I've been going to use the pool for about 5 years. I just can't imagine not being able to go back swimming.

I am from Brigham City and there are a number of us who frequent the MWC and love it. Please, please do the necessary repairs. It is essential to the health and welfare of many people.

I have used the Marshall White pool to recuperate from foot surgery, to maintain mobility despite spinal issues, and to prepare for shoulder surgery. Though I am younger than most of those who attend water aerobics there, I have always been made welcome and included in the communal activities of the swimmers. As someone my age with physical disabilities, this is NOT a common experience for me. The Marshall White pool has proven to be more than a place of physical healing and strengthening for me. It has become a place "where everyone knows [my] name," where people ask me about my wellbeing if I miss days, a true community center with heart--that heart being the pool.

The Marshall White COMMUNITY pool is just that, a part of the Ogden community. It's a place for the children to go to stay off the streets and learn a sense of community, happiness, and to make friends. It's a place where I gather with the women, and sometimes a man or two, to do water aerobics 3 days a week. Without this pool, there is nowhere for many people to get the fitness they need to sustain a healthy life. This pool is the very HEART of the entire community center. This pool and the women who swim there, that opened their arms, and hearts to me with no questions asked, have saved my life!! I suffer Major Depressive Disorder and the Marshall White pool is the only thing I often look forward to, and the only thing that gets me out of bed and stimulates my happiness. For many of the women I have met at this pool, this is the ONLY place they can go to socialize and get exercise. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix or rebuild!!!! The Ogden community is worth this!!!

I miss my water aerobics class. More importantly, I wonder what has become of the woman who lost over 100 lbs because of her daily water routine, or the woman in the wheelchair whose daughter brought her to swim. There is no place for us, now. There are people for whom this will drastically alter their lives. And I paid $45 for a pass that is now, in effect, worthless. Please fix pur pool.
