Not a regular visitor - but Lavender Hill Police Station is now the only one - since Battersea Bridge Road Police Station went in this part of Wandsworth- and much needed by local residents with the increase in stabbings - acid attacks etc. Like Battersea Bridge Rd police station there is/was space for police cars and vans - now where will these cars vans be housed - in their fight against crime.

I have lived in Battersea all my life. At a time when violent street crime and burglaries seem to be increasing it is incomprehensible to close Lavender Hill following the closure of Battersea Bridge Road. The nearest station then becomes the far side on Clapham Common at Cavendish Road. No use to anyone in trouble in North Battersea. Please do not close Lavender Hill

Our closest police station on Battersea Bridge Road has already been closed. Please don't close another Battersea police station.

Our nearest station was Battersea Bridge Road, that went and now this one is our nearest. We really need it to stay please.

London is overcrowded and we need more police stations and police to protect us, the number of murders is appalling we are catching up on the American figures.

With the huge amount of re-development in Battersea it is imperative that there is a local Police Station

It is outrageous that you are even thinking of closing Batterseas ONLY police station. With crime rising already, it will become even worse if there will be less police around. How are we to protect ourselves?????

I am increasingly unwilling to venture out after dark having recently been menaced by scooter riders who clearly feel that the police no longer pose a threat to them in the Battersea area

Wandsworth resident numbers are increasing as more new homes become available. Terrorist attacks and crime levels are on the increase. Closing Lavender Hill Police Station would reduce security and safety and would be absolute madness. Please keep the station open.

Do not close Lavender Hill. That would be stupid and inefficient

We've already lost the Battersea Bridge Road Police Station, sold for more and more residential flats - don't take away the only one we have left. Totally mad proposal, can only be for £££s. Battersea's police are absolutely essential to maintain law & order in this area. Appalling political u-turn, clearly not concerned to keep citizens safe.

We do not have enough policemen and policewomen in Wandsworth. We must keep Lavender Hill police station and staff at all costs.

we have already lost the police station at Battersea and Clapham .What next? This is absurd to keep closing these vital points of safety especially with the street crime . Where will have to go to find a station, Brixton?

With increasing very violent crimes and being next to the second busiest railway station in England, how can we even think about closing a police station.

Police and community officer numbers are down and it is especially reassuring to have an accessible Police station so near to Clapham Junction the scene of riots a few years back. The increase of terrorist attacks and street crime would seem to back this case.

I don't trust the Labour party and I don't trust the Mayor. There is no emergency service stop in this entire area if the Police station is closed to give Labour more money to bring in more unwanted people to this country

Breach of Labour's Election Manifesto to reduce crime. It is the only Police Station in Battersea and should not be closed. Totally wrong.

Police visibility is essential for crime prevention. With rising crime in London (knife crime, moped muggings and gang related crime especially), the local community needs police stations now more than ever to feel safe. It is a disgrace that police stations are closing.
