East Ilsley is a pretty little village, and this addition to the pub has done nothing to detract from that. It has become a central place for feeling safe and part of the community

This pergola has been a massive positive for the village. It meant we have a place where we are comfortable and safe to meet as a community when we have vulnerable people to keep safe. It means a lot for people's mental health to be able to meet in a safe environment and prevents people feeling isolated. It also looks really attractive and does not denigrate the visual appeal of the pub.

It’s essential that this is maintained to ensure the pub remains viable and in case of any future resurgence’s of COVID or similar emergency . The pub throughout the pandemic were a lifeline for much of the village and should not be penalised for doing what was needed then and still is now !

This space is great and I have enjoyed it several times. Painting it black is absurd and actually would make it stand out more. Please see reason let it stay as it is.
