So sad to see our lovely Ham parade diminishing under the weight of estate agencies . We must together stop yet another agency filling the row of shops. Wouldn't it be lovely to have a parade that services our daily needs of fresh local produce and treats , beautiful gifts and places to dine. Wouldn't it be lovely to have somewhere dynamic to visit rather than somewhere depressingly bleak ...

The loss of Tucker's Butcher's shop was a real blow to the parade. Once we were able to buy everything needed for a meal there - turning this into an estate agents diminishes the range of products on offer and undermines the sense of community local shops like this bring.

We need fewer estate agents and bookie shops and more local and artisan offerings. We could do with another butcher, a fishmonger and perhaps a haberdashery/wool shop.

We already have two estate agents on our parade, we need more local stores!

Can we please have more shops catering to residents needs .? Maybe a japanese restaurant or a gourmet pizza shop?

When I was looking for somewhere to live when I retired I chose Ham because of it's transport links and the parade. In the last 16 years the parade has served me very well. As I get older I value it even more. However, in that time we have lost the Post Office, the bank and the butchers shop.
We have already got three estate agents and now the butchers is will make it 4! EVEN MORE DISTURBING IS THAT WHEN GLENCOURSE, THE ANTIQUE SHOP CLOSES IT TOO IS TO BE AN ESTATE AGENTS!
This is quite ridiculous. We need real shops not offices with windows. Where are the elderly supposed to shop?
This stupidity has to stop now and it is up to the Community to make it's voice known to those that have the power to do something about it.
To the powers that be, if you want my vote next time, now is the time for you to show what you can do!

This is a lovely parade of shops serving the local community, to ensure this continues to thrive we don't need another estate agents that will discourage rather than encourage more visitors.

3 Estate Agents on Ham Parade is quite enough. We need small businesses who will be there to help build a community.

I use the shops most days and will continue to do so - use it or lose it. We do not need any more estate agents, they offer nothing to the local community.

Three estate agents on Ham Parade is more than enough but we must all be prepared to our bit support the local shops. Their prices are reasonable and can be cheaper than the nearby supermarkets.

I shop on Ham Parade most days and often more than once a day. But I have never bought a house there. We do not need another estate agent, we want more shops that attract new shoppers to the parade and offer something new to those of us who already shop there.

I moved to Ham in 1963 and the Parade has always been a lifeline in terms of retail diversity and sense of community. Estate Agents are already over-represented now, as are hairdressers and charity shops. A balance needs to be restored with more varied and independent retailers supplying the essential needs of the local community.

I agree with all of Janet Bernard's comments. We need more diversity in the Parade, not another Estate Agent!
