This is ridiculous, how can they let this go through!

Such a beautiful river and valley, has to stop.

I live on the Orara and rely on the water for farming. I do not want toxic practices starting up upstream. I am an organic farmer. I do not wish to see natural sites damaged.

I support this petition. Although I see the need for local food production and employment of local people as an issue that is a positive from blueberry farming, I believe that the negative effects of the wholesale degradation of natural environment and loss of habitat for native species through land clearing is appalling. Not to mention the farming practices of large amounts of chemical use on their crops. The practice as it currently stands presents far more negative aspects and should be stopped.

This is digusting! Makes my blood boil that absolutely no forward thinking is used when approving these farms!

Please don't let them continue to deplete our local waterways. The evidence is there already open your eyes.

My sister lives in this area and I visit her frequently, I have been absolutely gobsmacked to see this beautiful area razzed and replaced with Blueberry farms. The chemicals used in this farming will eventually kill off livestock and destroy other farmers income!!!

I grew up swimming and enjoying the Orara River. I would hate to see it destroyed. I want my children to experience it too!

Woolgoolga has already been taken over by berries... Netting as far as the eye can see... I do worry about the chemicals.

Another environmental disaster waiting to happen! It's too late once the damage is done. Let the growers find ways to grow these crops in ways that won't poison our river and us! Surely with organic being the preferred way to eat today we don't need to destroy this waterway?

It has happened at Nana Glen. Right on Cold water creek. The bucca bucca Creek after years of money, volunteer hours being spent removing weed species, revegetation, and regeneration, the blueberry farms have turned it into a dirty drain. The chemicals used are poisoning flora,fauna and humans. We need to fight this together.

Chemicals being put into the Orara River should not be allowed.

Save our ecosystems please, don't destroy our lives, Human, Fauna and Flora

Leave the Orara River alone. Can't we keep some of natures beauty untouched. Stop the blueberries!!
