Maidstone is loosing so many of its woodlands and country areas. It has to stop soon.!! The traffic in and around the areas being swallowed up is unbeleivable now what will it be like if all these projects go ahead.

I can't wait for all this development to be finished to see the reactions of the people who've paid thousands of pounds to live in an area where it will take about an hour to get up or down Hermitage Lane. What price a home in Allington then. And all so MBC and Tonbridge and Malling can fill housing quotas and developers, who won't be affected by the misery they have caused, can make a profit. It will be mayhem and serves them right. NAAGS tried so hard to save this area. If only they'd had more support from ALL residents the outcome could have been different.

The extent of building around the town is getting excessive. New Towns are the answer, with supporting infrastructure.

I lived here as a child and my parents still do. The woodlands are abundant with flora and fauna and many trees have preservations on them. Are we becoming so selfish and blind as humans to not consider the needs of other species on the planet. We need to care now to protect for the future.

Maidstone is becoming ugly and is being destroyed with far too many developments. The woods are a beautiful place to walk. These areas should be left for the wildlife to live in, especially as so many similar areas have already been taken away from them.
Hermitage Lane is also already queued up with cars during the rush hour times so the new developments are going to make it even worse for the residents from the surrounding areas. It must have an affect on ambulances trying to get to the hospital too!

there's too many houses being built in the Hermitage Lane area, another 2,000 + cars adding to already congested roads and pollution. At least leave this woodland and field, don't be so greedy Croudace! You've already won to build 420 houses completely ruining Allington, a nice quiet area of Maidstone. Maidstone Borough Council you should hang your heads in shame! think about the future of our children, grandchildren and generations to come please.

let my daughter see the only piece of woodland around here, where she enjoys climbing the trees and it is away from concrete that is all around us

Build elsewhere - the roads in Barming and Allington are already clogged and cannot cope with traffic as it is. With the houses already planned it will be so much worse - building on the site of the woods Will exacerbate the problem. This development will have a seriously detrimental affect on local quality of life to humans, and a devastating affect on wildlife.

So sad to learn our green space is threatened. We bought our house in this area because we loved the local countryside on our doorstep. This blatant disregard for our natural environment is unforgivable. Shame on Maidstone Borough Council.
