How dare these elected council members so poorly reflect the views of their residents! Allington and Barming are overcrowded with poor infrastructure now! Hospital services have been downgraded, GP surgeries are struggling and our secondary schools are full!! Traffic is unbearable - disgusted that this has gone ahead. Learn your lesson MBC do not upset your residents further

Have our petitions against the building works meant nothing to the Councils? They showed how passionate the local people of Allington are about their surroundings and they have been completely ignored and overruled. A disgrace!

A disgrace that MBC and T&MBC have changed their minds after originally opposing building on this land.Local residents objections to this proposal have been completely been ignored and overruled.Dread to think of the chaos the extra traffic will cause to the surrounding area.

This area is a valuable open space for locals all year round... Its a natural piece of countryside ... Undeveloped ie not tarmaced which is hard to find and extremy valued by outdoorsy people. Please leave it alone and keep Allington the special place it is at the moment.

It is a disgrace that Maidstone Council approved permission for 420 homes (Scheme 2) BEFORE the decision of the public Appeal, which cost us the tax payers in excess of £40,000 !! Destruction of our beautiful bluebell wood and Scheme 3 for a further 80 homes must not be allowed.

Big developers and MBC councillors both with their noses in the trough yet again at the expense of the Maidstone residents. They were elected to serve us and improve our quality of life, not a population that doesn't yet live in Maidstone
