Save Our Open Space - Bluebell Wood

Don’t get rid of bluebell woods don’t ruin nature

The infrastructure simply cannot cope with any more houses. Please listen to the residents, whose daily lives are being adversely affected.

The ancient woodlands and surrounding area are priceless and deserve to be saved simply for the fact they supply space for the wildlife and fresh air for every living creature.

Maidstone will be compleatly gridlocked in 2 years

Shame on the people who decide on ruining our countryside. We are losing to much of our open spaces.

We are overwhelmed with dread at what will certainly happen now that Scheme 2 has been approved. 'Proof of the pudding' is what we now see already happening in Hermitage Lane, with two estates already built and being occupied. As is the old Nursery site and the one opposite the Park and Ride. This is not progesss. Visiting Maidstone is a no go area for us. Please let our open space flourish, so that at least some air is not polluted. No more houses, please.

Please please save our lovely wood. This area is becoming too built up and every tree or field should be preserved where at all possible. Surely we have had our share of new builds now!

So very saddened by the decisions made. Our beautiful local countryside to be lost forever. This is so, so wrong.

The wood will be surrounded by housing. Maidstone is expanding towards T&M. Where will our wildlife go?

ancient woodlands should always be preserved

Once lost (read built on/felled) ancient woodland can not be replaced. These ecosystems are rich, complex and yes - irreplaceable.

This is important local natural space that provides the community natural woodland to walk in and wildlife the chance to live in. London needs to retain some natural habitat to provide space to breath and avoid urban sprawl.

These woods have given generations of my family pleasure- it seems terrible that they won't give other families and generations the same

We loves these peaceful open spaces. The prospect of hundreds of new houses shoe horned into Allington and the loss of our beautiful woodland and surrounding green areas, is awful. We feel so very let down.

This has to stop, profit before trees and wildlife is unacceptable ancient woodland is impossible to replace!

Shameful building on this land when there is so much abandoned land available around town.

This is not right.. Keep the woods. The garden of england... There will be no garden left soon which once destroyed it can never be replaced. So sad
