Education should be funded appropriately and children given sufficiently trained teachers to enable their development to their full potential

The role of these nursery nurses is vital in the school. It's an outcry that they are being forced into positions that they do not wish to be in and would rather be where they are. They do a fantastic job!

Absolutely ridiculous that WLC have moved experienced staff out of this school. Disabled children need people who are experienced to deal with their specific needs and will be left vulnerable with staff who have no experience. shocking!!

As all children at Pinewood have severe and complex needs it is essential that qualified and dedicated nursery nurses remain in post for the health and safety of all the children at Pinewood. While support staff is valuable they cannot replace qualified SEN Nursery Nurses. Yes the council must make cuts but why penalise the most vulnerable children in the county. This is one area where cuts should not be made.

The staff at pinewood are excellent and go above and beyond for the children. I know my son couldn't cope without his nursery nurse at school!!

As usual it is the vulnerable that always seems to suffer. Teaching assistants will have to be trained so why waste money when there is already qualified staff trained to the job
