Save Our Nursery Nurses in Special Needs Schools in West Lothian

Shocking! Enough is enough these cuts by the council are not on. Why not cut the Heads of the council/ depts and work your way down. We are going back ways in life this needs to stop

It's clearly a bad idea to take all of that experience away all at once. This is not thought through.

Nursery nurses are a highly trained work force and are essential for the welfare and care of children.

No way should this proposal be accepted

Last time the council was wrong so why try again

My younger brother who has downs syndrome attended Pinewood school for 11 happy years. Leave it be with the trained staff it requires, and make your savings elsewhere. It's all wrong!!

I taught at Pinewood school for 15years and during that time found the contribution nursery nurses gave in delivering the curriculum was invaluable. Providing the children with life skills was one of their expertise and essential for the young people to develop their full potential.

These nursery nurse workers should be kept where they are the children are used to having familiar faces, getting new staff will be upsetting

The children of Pinewood school will really suffer without the expertise of the Nursery Nurses. They are unique, having skills that are not required in a normal school environment. The children rely on these nursery nurses and bond with them, to an exceptionally and personal degree. This takes a long time to attain and the children will suffer. The nursery nurses are unique and Pinewood will miss them tremendously.
