Please keep the nursery nurses, they are irreplaceable and the kids will be the ones who will suffer in the long run.

You are removing practitioners who have a depth of knowledge that support workers don't have, as a qualified NN I would love a job as an NN but apparently there are no jobs, but the council are stating there is a shortage, as far as I am concerned you are getting NN's on the cheap as most of the ladies I work with are qualified NN's but we are forced to take positions as APSW the council are well
Aware of this

I'm all for integration/ choice however this is often the wrong choice for all involved and often the comparison is only drawn when a child leaves for mainstream or goes back from mainstream. The specialist staff are in an environment and have the skills to aid development and I can think of no logical reason or benefit to moving nursery nurses..

No child that needs that extra bit of help should ever go without, these children are most vulnerable and should be allowed the help they need.

Disgusting behaviour its high time councils were scrapped altogther they waste money constantly and expect the most vulnerable people in society to shoulder their mismanagement.

if Education is the number one priority, then why remove these nurses who have years of experience in dealing with these children and their specific needs to be be replaced with people who are both new and inexperienced.

Why shouldn't children with special needs in west Lothian not have the same facilities as kids from elsewhere? They are trying to shut kids wards in St. John's??? What's going on in west Lothian?

Plenty of parents I know use this system and to cut back would be detrimental to their well being.

With already restricted resources in the area, please do not deprive those most needing these resources further. If you do, it will severely impact the children's education & progress. This is an act against the most vulnerable people in our society.

Signing for my nephew to allow him the correct education and care. This will allow him to reach and fulfil his potential.
