Thanks for your support. The school is not being closed. West Lothian Council wish to remove the qualified, experienced nursery nurses who work with them in school and replace them with Teaching assistants.

More cuts. More stress for children and families! This needs some serious consideration. Nursery nurses play an enormous part in the children and families lives. Their knowledge and understanding is second to none and they play a vital part in the education of our young people.

I also have a special needs child who went to Blackburn Primary ASD unit. It is very Destressing for children to go through change, they need people around them who they trust and who knows what they need and when they need it.

Why is this even happening, children with special needs need experienced individual s. Experienced individuals who know about there sensory needs, how to use there voice without sounding loud or abrupt. These kids are being neglected by local governments agenda for cutting costs. It's these kids long term future there affecting. Any changes of care are and will cause harm short and long term.
Teachers influence there health and well being. This is shocking disappointed yet again, vulnerable always first to be targeted

Please don't withdraw funding for these vital workers. Every one of them helps make a difference in a child - and their family's - lives.

This is a specialised area that needs specialist knowledge and support. Why should the future of kids with severe and complex needs be jeopardised by falling foul to a cost cutting exercise.

My child attends Ogilvie Campus and there have been enough disruptions with the school recently. EVERY child matters.

My little boy goes to pinewood school...nursery nurses are a must have they are a massive help to the teaching staff and the children, my little boy has just started to settle in his new class after the summer holidays...now they want to change things again..it is so distressing for some kids, wish the council would just leave things as they are,.
