My daughter goes to pine wood since she started going she has came on leaps and bounds and that is due to the great work the school and the staff provide so to that end the nurses and all the staff should be kept

The children need the support from these dedicated nurses. Don't replace them with people who want a job, it's not just a job!

The nursery nurses play a huge role in educating and caring for our children while they are at school. They are well qualified and able to undertake parts of the job that teaching/support assistants are not able to. Our children will have poorer educational experiences and outcomes if this short sighted, short term cost-cutting measure is allowed to go ahead.

I am so sorry to read this.
It is an absolute disgrace, and shouldn't be happening.
We all know budgets are tight, but this is undermining all that you do, and the study/time/dedication it took. Shocking.
Knowing how much of a difference you make to our children and to their parents is one thing, but everyone has bills to pay and these cuts are being made in completely the wrong areas. This has to stop.

Our son goes to Pinewood school & he has got on brilliant,the teachers & staff are amazing,some kids like our son don't like change,come on wlc do the right thing & safe our kids teachers x

Why is everything about money nowadays? How can Councils find money for all sorts of crazy things and ideas but deprive the less fortunate of us from the help, assistance and encouragement they NEED!! If this is a cost cutting exercise then is this Labour controlled Council doing the work of the Tories? Help the children with what is in THEIR best interest. That's what is important!!

My son Connor goes to this school and the work all the staff do with these kid is absolutely fantastic .some of these kids don't do well with change ,what is west lothian council think about .

I strongly disagree about getting rid of nursery nurses from special needs schools as they have been trained to look after the kids and they work really hard with them.
