This is a well appreciated establishment, it would be a crying shame to close it. The community needs these schools. Life is hard enough for the children.

Let these pen pushers come into nurserys and just see how well they support children with physical and emotionsl needs and how wrong it would be to close them down and csuse so much stress for all concerned .

Keep qualified nursery nurses in schools for children with special needs! To do otherwise would not work. These nurses are needed for the childrens sake

Children are more important than money and children with additional needs should receive quality specialist support from trained staff.

My great niece benefits so much from Pinewood School and having trained staff is essential and can never be replaced by teaching assistants

These children need specialist teaching and although teaching assistants are brilliant with these children too they are rarely given the time or money to train further. The knowledge and skills that nursery nurses have and are able to develop is invaluable to both the children and the teachers working with these amazing kids!

Teachers spend less and less time in the classroom, nursery nurses do the job with the help of learning assistants. Training a learning assistant to do the job of a nursery nurse is wrong. It's about the children and nothing more.

Cutting back on such invaluable experience and skills will dilute children's futures.
