These young people deserve the best education available and removing experienced nursery nurses will have a negative impact on the pupils and staff at Pinewood School.

This is so wrong these children imparticularly require trained skilled carers. Let's get it right for children and make Scotland the best place to grow up.

By cost cutting there is a huge demand for learning disability nurse input, OT and SALT. This would be lessened with better trained nursery nurses. The good ones are leaving as they are not being paid for their skills, or becoming so demoralised they are passed caring! Not good. You get what you pay for. By cost cutting, you are spending more on other professional involvement.

Nursery nurses have specific and appropriate training. I, as a teacher educator believe that actual harm could come to the children's progress, by the use of untrained assistants.

These children need special care from trained staff. It gives hope to there families as they see there children achieve in small ways. This is no place to save money.

These nursery nurses are not only qualified but have the years of experience looking after children with additional support needs! It takes a special person to look after our children. As a parent I need to know that the people looking after my child have the necessary experience, not just a qualification!

My son attends Pinewood. After a year out of education due to his previous placement at another school breaking down, The staff at Pinewood saved us.

Compromising skilled intervention for the sake of saving money. Shocking but unfortunately happening in many nurseries.

These children need all the professional help they can get. They are already disadvantaged. Don't make them more disadvantaged

The underpinning of the training and experience of our Nursery Nurses cannot be replaced by the role of a Teaching Assistant.
