I am against the development proposed for hall at Moonee Ponds. totally inappropriate. This is development gone crazy, this needs to be stopped. Developers lining their pockets at the expense of our community. Our beautiful suburb is being destroyed.

dumping any group of several hundred people on a suburb affects its nature.Especially when the people have little community involvement or exposure.

Our infrastructure does not work as it is let alone with this development. Parking is abysmal now let alone with many more people moving into the area. Along with this development our beautiful heritage area is being overtaken with these monstrosities that are an eyesore! We are not Hong Kong

This is not appropriate development for this area. Moonee Ponds is not inner city and does not have the infrastructure to support these high density developments. Absolute greed on behalf of the developers.

You have to travel into the CBD to find a dwelling of this height. Planning applications for apartments should reflect the make up of the society. Developers should build appartments that suit families, single people, disabled, older people etc. Not just masses of shoeboxes that suit investors.

How can this 30 storey development be considered an improvement to the area? It will add to the already congested roads and the precinct doesn't have the appropriate infrastructure to cope with this obscene over-development.

Way too high. Not enough car parking spaces. The place will be a nightmare. Moonee Ponds is beautiful. Don't wreck it!!

Plan Melbourne should be a SHARED vision. A social contract for growth and change based on robust policy development and consultation that is largely supported by the community. The Plan Melbourne planning controls which local councils have to administer in NO WAY reflect the community's will or aspirations for their neighbourhoods. Minister Wynne again shows his contempt for local communities, local councils and the democratic process of genuine considered consultation to arrive at outcomes. If you want to talk with the planning minister, it only happens carrying a placard in a street march.

it seems like our planning departments are hell bent in allowing such large structures to be constructed in low rise residential areas...allowing such large developments to be built will inevitable lead to our roads , streets and thoroughfares to be turned into canyons....

Completely inappropriate high rise in our suburb. This is not the CBD or Docklands and is a gross over development in a residential area.

It seems like Caydon are making up new plans as they go!!!
This development was always going to be an eye sore, but 30 levels is obnoxious.
God help us with the traffic congestion in the area.
The planning minister should seriously reconsider his decision.
