This will destroy Moonee Ponds

Stop the high rises. It's changing the whole Melbourne landscape and not for the better. Along Keilor Rd and Mt Rd so many apartments and the shops below seem to struggle to be rented. Roads are already busy enough and public transport. What plans are in place to improve infrastructure with an extra 1000 plus residents just in a one block radius?

Seems to be no information on how the traffic from this building block will affect the area. Has the minister actually visited the area. It's very sad to see our suburbs changing in such an unsuitable way.

This development is not in the interest of the public, but rather the developer.

You can't approve such developments without the infrastructure. Improve our roads & rail by putting rail under road. You will be collecting so much stamp duty & land tax from all the developments in our area it will be paid for. Equally we need consistency in approvals. You can't give 30 story approval to one then only 6 to another. It seems the big companies run rough shot because they have the finances to legally push or persuade. Either wat no such approval should take place without sufficient infrastructure. Have some consideration & respect for the majority.

An inappropriate development! Traffic and parking is already terrible!! High rises belong in the CBD not in Moonee Ponds

This is a ridiculous! I suggest you try and board the 59 tram to see how it is aleady heaving with insufficent services or perhaps try driving around the area and sit in the traffic like the locals are forced to do. We are already struggling with insufficent infastructure in this area. This decision is a joke!

Moonee ponds can't cope with current road congestion its ridiculous !! The proposed road tunnel on Buckey street/Essendon station will make it worse. We should fix our transport infrastructure before building high rise buildings.

I have lived in Moonee Ponds all my life (26 years) and am extremely disappointed with this result and urge you to reconsider. Over development with no consideration for local residents. Please explain how our current infrastructure will cope with this. Car Parking, Public Transportation, Schools- I rest my case.

Why have a local council when their voices aren't heard and the state government over rule what is happening here. Apart from the builders and the state government, who in our area will benefit from such a monstrosity???? Won't 16 stories be big enough for you!!!

I believe this development is not appropriate for this area as it will tower over the homes surrounding it and create shadowing as well as being an eyesore.

This is a complete OVER development!! When are our politicians going to listen to us, the residents who are electing them?
