Labour promised before the election to protect our suburb from inappropriate development. They have broken their promise to those who voted them in

The roads are not fit to support the population increase in this area. Let alone the poor ammenities which will follow this development shame on the local government.

This approval is a disgrace. This is totally inappropriate for a suburb like Moonee Ponds. It will cripple our community. This horrid decision of 30 stories needs to be amended.

Absolutely ridiculous. The roads surrounding this development can not cope with the current traffic.

I oppose the building of a 30 storey apartment as the streets are already congested in this area and cannot service more traffic it will be disastrous .

I have lived in Moonee Ponds for the length of my long married life. Trains from Moonee Ponds to the City are incredibly overcrowded. Roads are choked by traffic. Our heritage is being eroded. How can we possibly fit in more people? How can this development be seen as sympathetic to the area? As a long time Labour supporter I think some rethinking is in order, sadly.

I oppose to the 30 storey development! I think it is excessive and will ruin the character of the neighborhood.

Minister Wynne as President of the Ascot Vale Residents Action Group & long time member of a local ALP branch,I am disgusted at your arrogance & your contempt for Moonee Valley municipality. You will be remembered up there with Rob Maclellan & Matthew Guy for your legacy as Planning Minister.

For the people in the apartments, shopping will be great - foot traffic will end up decreasing though, because nobody will enjoy shopping in such a small and over populated area - I'll be avoiding it, along with many others

Lack infrastructure to support current residents. This development will kill our suburb and surrounds. Overdevelopment must stop.

This is outrageous to build this building in the current location. There is very little infrastructure to support this.

Can't believe this. Already can't fit on the trains, or find parking and the traffic is getting worse in the area, especially with the gates for the train crossing, and you are trying to put so many more people in a small vicinity. These towers will cut down on light and generally be an eyesore. Where are people supposed to park? Assume the new residents will have visitors. More traffic and NO parking to be able to use the shops. What a disaster this will be.
