Poorly thought out high density living in an area that doesn't have the capacity or infrastructure to support it.

just my simple opinion for what its worth
1. this is a crazy over development of the site
2. the streets will be clogged and the area will choke
3. emergency services will be hamstrung
4. people living on top of each other will not cope and there will be many disputes and someone will get hurt
5. parking will be non existent
6. people will stay away from the area out of pure frustration.
7. what about a heat assessment
8. local business turn over will drop significantly
9. lastly I am sure the streets end up cluttered with litter
In my humble opinion this is totally inappropriate and it reeks of a political decision rather than one that makes sense

For the sake of all first home buyers in the area, please protect our attempts to get in to the property by not devaluing apartments in the area.

Shame on you Mr Wynne. 30 stories in Moonee Ponds is unacceptable. And to blame local council is despicable.

This is a gross over development. It is obvious that the Minister for Planning has a total disregard to the residents of Moonee Ponds and surrounding suburbs. MPs only attempt to curry favour the constituents of marginal seats. Labor have taken the seat of Essendon for granted for too long.

This is an exemplar of megalomania; it is not in the interest of anyone other than the developer and his investors. The rest of society will suffer from this inappropriate development.

Totally inappropriate for a predominately low rise residential area.

Based on this decision's lack of regard for the local community I have no doubt that the height controls also recently placed on development at Flemington Racecourse will eventually be exceeded to the same extent.

Totally in appropriate. This government has no idea about sustainability as a whole , of which population is a large part. Infrastructure is at capacity now, and this govt. just keeps approving more and more developments. There is 47,000 apartments coming on stream in Melbourne without this development which is a year or two away. We are going to end up with a lot of ghettos.

Where do you expect to fit the extra traffic this development will bring ??? Have they even thought about the effects on the amenities that exist. the one way street will be bursting at the seams

The infrastructure just does not exist to service this totally inappropriate and massive development. If the local community reject this why does someone who lives nowhere near to us and is not at all connected to the local issues have the final say? I say NO to developers controlling our planning decisions.

We have enough high rise developments. Moonee ponds is congested enough. We cannot keep overcrowding our infrastructure

This development is ridiculous and an eyesore. We don't have the infrastructure, parking etc in an already congested area.

Council should've determined mandatory heights by now. If not, the Planning Minister needs to step in and do what council failed to complete.
