This is not in the best interest of existing local residents when the current infrastructure, roads, public transport and current building heights are not over 4 story. We are not in thebCBD where towers are acceptable and expected. We are a suburb of families. Not in favour of 30 stories, maybe 10 only.

This is an absolute disgrace. The entire community don't want this development which was supported by the council. Here is not enough infrastructure to support 1000s of more people to this small area.

Mooned Ponds is residential not city centre with transient living and high density buildings. The tax office is bad enough as is, as is the eye sore on the corner of Ascot vale Rd and Mt Alexander Rd near moonee ponds junction. Not enough parking to encourage local shopping and local eateries unless you love the car two times. Poor shop owners too. Another money grab decision by those who don't even live in the area making decisions on behalf of us all. Disappointing and of no great added value. I know who not to vote for next round.

I suppose it's another thing those Dickheads at VCAT have overturned. It would be nice if someone was made accountable......

MVCC you only think of the $$$ About time you stopped wearing blinkers and plan for the future- overdevelopment is ruining our area. The council has not invested in infrastructure to keep up with the amount of inappropriate development

The proposed development is too tall and too overwhelming for this site. It will dwarf its surroundings and will place undue stress on the current infrastructure. Please do not allow this monstrosity to be developed.

An overdevelopment for the area and will drive people away from shopping as parking will just get worse

Infrastructure such as local government services and transport are already under strain. The additional residents in this over development, together with the proposed development of the Moonee Valley Racecourse, will be a community catastrophe.

This is beyond acceptable on any planning parameter. Stop this lunacy now.

No one but the developer wants this monstrosity. Have to wonder how many pockets have been lined for this to be approved. Moonee Ponds was such a beautiful suburb to live, but has now turned into high rise central and is no longer a place I would like to live. This will also effect the local businesses as traffic is already highly congested. I for one will no longer go shopping in the area.

No high risers

This development is way beyond the capacity of the surrounding street and the rail , tram and bus infra structure. The additional load on an already overcrowded support system for the local area is a serious risk and will lead to an increase in accidents and potentially deaths.

this is an ill-considered decision which will cause havoc and chaos in Moonee Ponds and surrounding areas.

The scale of this project is totally inappropriate for the area and will swamp existing over-stretched rail, tram and road infrastructure.

This is outrageous overdevelopment of the area. How will public transport and roads handle this influx. Develop yes but within reason!!
