Some anonymous complaints, not recorded, sounds a bit "fishy". They've never caused a problem, they pick up after themselves. Let them keep using the space.

I attended this launches when I lived in Denver. They were professional and safe. Model rocketry has an exemplary safety record. You should allow the launches to continue.

I lifetime hobby to be shared by family. Old and and young can enjoy. Countless skills that can be learned to open up other ventures in ones life. Don't let our youth miss out on these endless possibilities.

Please keep the rocket launch open. I brought my children there in middle and high school. They thoroughly enjoyed it. The club kept everything well under control.

The loss of this site for this educational, socializing, and development of a scientific community of this sort would most unfortunate in more ways than can be enumerated here.

These hobby rocket launches are so important in helping to foster youth interest in STEM. Some of my favorite projects as a kid were working on model rockets with my dad, and seeing them reach skyward. It helped make me the who I am, working at Boeing (which fulfilled a dream I had since childhood).

Please reconsider the closing of the park to these model rocketeers. This hobby brings smiles on to a lot of young kids. Wouldn't you rather have these kids enjoying model rockets, over getting into trouble with gangs and violence?

In terms of fire risk, model rocketry is far safer than barbecueing. Model rocketry is the reason I chose to pursue a career in Aerospace Engineering.

Model rocketry is a safe hobby and Colorado is an important part of it. Estes Industries, the main rocket company in the hobby is there. It is a great STEM activity and it has a great safety record. Please allow rocketry activities to continue at the park.

Model rockets are available to the public. Rocketry clubs, like CRASH, provide guidance and enforcement of safety procedures that an amateur may not otherwise follow. It is safer to allow the rockets to fly with experienced eyes on them than scattered about, in a less controlled manner.

I now work in the aerospace industry and I started my interest in STEM partly by flying at launches like these in Minnesota.

Giving these kids a healthy activity is good for them and the community. I can understand fire danger when conditions are dry otherwise let the kids fly.
Keep model rocketry alive!
