Rocket launches are what have encourage my children to look at the STEM careers as they have grown up. I have one that just started college and one in high school. Taking away this vital program will be detrimental to the STEM development that has taken a long time to get where it is. I would encourage you to rethink discontinuing this program!

It's great to be able to launch basic rockets with Scouts alongside sophisticated rockets being launched by expert hobbyists. With model rocketry being banned at most nearby parks, this has been the best legitimate option us. CRASH has always run a safe, inclusive, and most of all, FUN launching environment that benefits the community.

Participating in rocket launches as a child was a driving force of my love of science and technology. As a Cubmaster in Scouting I can tell you that this activity was a highlight of the year. Please don't take this away.

Done properly this is not a danger. Safety must come first, but these groups take the proper precautions.

I support Scouting, STEM classes and model rocketry. There is zero valid reason for shutting this area down. Noise compaints? Get real.

I'll sign but I'll also add that our pack and group used to launch at Dekovend park at University and Arapahoe. If nothing changes at BCLP maybe check it out.

I think this brings a lot of good things to the community. This club certainly helped me with my school project my senior year.

I’ve done rocketry programs for school aged youth many times - there are few ways better to demonstrate the direct connection between using your brain and using your hands than model rockets.

Model rocketry is a fun, safe, and educational hobby. Launches conducted according to the National Association of Rocketry's safety code and the National Fire Protection Association's model fire code have a 60 year track record of greater safety than many activities such as sports. Kids doing model rocketry learn about science, engineering, simulation, safety, and design. They become the scientists and space engineers of our future.
Keep flying
This is truly sad. C.R.A.S.H inspires so many!
