Surely there is a much better answer to this, than risking the loss of major events which attract huge crowds to the park.

There’s not enough as it is. Update it and leave it be, it doesn’t need to be any smaller than it is

This is terrible, the reason we visit the area is because of the awesome park with the fab top hat slide, my kids will be devastated! Can’t be allowed to go ahead!

Play park area should remain where it is currently located. Festival events such as Rockore, Benarty Gala, pipe bands and the many more that are currently held in the proposed area bring in much extra revenue for to our local community. We need to keep the current area we have for these events otherwise the area would be much smaller and would not not attract as much interest as a venue.

That park is used by local families, schools and community groups as well as people who travel to use the park. That park gets extremely busy at the size it is so why does it make sense to make it smaller??

Why would anyone in their right mind move the park to where the gala is every year. or the pipe band competition or rockore. All succesfull ventures by the benarty area. It stinks of spite and jealousy in my eyes. There is a wide open unused space just before the building as you get down to the meedies. But can someone explain why the park actually needs moved in the first place.

The play park is fine where it is, moving it will affect future annual events and prevent them being held at the meedies, makes no sense moving the park to the proposed area and making the playpark smaller too!!

Given how popular the park has become over last few years it’s don’t make sense to decrease park size!
We do not support this!!!!
