There are local woodworking guilds who have done this type of thing before. If the trees MUST be cut, please allow the wood to be used!

These live oaks mean alot to me and the residents of this neighborhood. Please consider allowing us repurpose this wood ,so the trees can live on in a different creative way.

If the tree can't be saved at least let us use the woodfor projects in the neighborhood.

This is a very lightweight request. More plantings should be installed including more trees and native plants. Please don't make this a lawn by just putting one tree in the middle. Millions of dollars of taxable real estate surrounds this property with streets that are no more than D- grade asphalt jobs

Preserving & turning the wood from these magnificent live oaks into an artistic (think sculptures, canopies, arches, mobiles, etc) & practical (organically designed benches) community remembrance is a truly inspiring & very forward-thinking endeavor.
It would serve as a shining example of what can be done to turn the heartbreak of losing these legendary trees into a positive & imaginative installation for all generations of the community to appreciate & enjoy them in their new existence.
