Please keep Public schools open! This is a proud jax local school, starting a new one and forcing people elsewhere isn’t the solution here.

Schools like ABE create a long term sense of community. Generational relationships and the spirit of Atlantic Beach depend on this school to live on.

Replacing public schools with charter schools is not in the best interest of the community.

Do not close our A- rated elementary school. A high percentage of attendees ride their bikes or walk to school. Moving them to Neptune, without busses will increase traffic in both locations and decrease the community feel we have in AB.

Keep Atlantic Beach Elementary just the way it is. Part of what makes it such a wonderful school is its capacity.

I find it highly suspect that the schools you’re proposing to close happen to be in neighborhoods where development opportunities would be lucrative. As a graduate of ABE and neighbor of this sweet school, I urge you to find another plan.

We cannot let anything happen to the school where I spent 6 wonderful years 1954-1960. AB Elementary School is too important to this community to let it go. Surely it is a historical building?

I went to elementary school at ABE and I have the fondest memories. It’s an amazing institution that shapes well rounded students and leaders

Quit giving charter schools an edge in Jacksonville! They don’t use busing and it has added a huge amount of drivers on the roads.

Please do not close this neighborhood school. My nieces and other family friends go there!

This is an integral part of the AB community. Save ABE for the kids and generations to come!
