This is a terrible decision to close these schools!! Charter schools have robbed our public school systems from the support that they need. They also create more traffic problems because parents not buses are transporting children.

My 3 boys went there and I was the Crossing Guard when the Seminole Rd was torn up and when the school was painted. I read to classes and I loved them being there. Keep it open for the Atlantic Beach children can experience what my boys did.

Consider the additional cost of bussing all these kids to the outlying schools!

ABE is one of the best schools around. The kids and parents love it. Please do not close it down. None of the parents or children want this to happen.

My wife and I moved to Atlantic Beach in 2018 to raise our children. Atlantic Beach Elementary was a major factor in our decision to buy a home and raise our children in Atlantic Beach. Atlantic Beach is a staple of AB and a major factor is heaping the character of the this beach town.
We would not live here and pay these taxes if it was not not for ABE. Protect ABE at all cost.

As a 35 year property tax paying resident of Atlantic Beach I am stunned that any city representative/Commissioner would not be 100% for keeping the school as it is with some necessary infrastructure improvements. If so, it looks like we need new representatives.
