I strongly believe in keeping Atlantic Beach Elementary a neighborhood public school. Atlantic Beach is a special neighborhood that must keep its character through its neighborhood school. I strongly oppose it becoming a Charter School. There is no good reason for it.

This Little Pink Elementary School is the reason why my daughter and son-in-law moved to the nearby Atlantic Beach neighborhood to raise and educate their future children. I am an educator, myself, and realize the importance of public neighborhood schools. Please continue this exceptional and unique educational opportunity for our present and future Atlantic Beach students.

My niece had been going there since kindergarten! I used to live directly behind the school. The children love it there. It’s a fantastic neighborhood school.

Oh come on now, what a stupid idea. I can't imagine our Mayor, the real one, not our little AB government one, would allow her home town to lose its beloved elementary school.
