I went to school here in the 1970's. It was and still is a central part of the community of Atlantic Beach. It's been an A school for years. It's staff is dedicated and it's an amazing little public school. It's also an historic building with a rich history. Please keep our neighborhood schools open and available.

An “A” school! And what are the board members going to do? Sell the citizens’ property to a private condo developer? Would love to see the accounting on that.

That school is local history. I went there 30 years ago. I tell my kids and their kids story's of the things we did there as children.

We are so disappointed in this plan. Mt daughter and my grandchildren attended ABE. I have one grandchild attending Atlantic Beach Elementary in 2nd grade. Our family is heartbroken with this announcement. Please save our school.

Our neighborhood school is the best. We had three daughters there since kindergarten. They could bike to school and their friends lived right here in their home school. The best Teachers and Parent participation. It is very important to have your school where you live.
