I count on this traffic light on a regular basis when I need to leave a nearby business. It slows traffic tremendously, allowing me to turn left on Route 25 safely.

The safety that light provides is necessary. If there needs to be a traffic flow change, perhaps consider programming the light to become a flashing light from a specific time of night to a specific time in the morning.

Saving this light is a matter of safety. Cars zoom down 25 and the light helps to manage that.

This light is so important for the safety of residents turning on to Rte 25 AND to keep tractor trailer traffic close to posted speed limits. Without this light the distance between stop lights will be quite long and speeding cars and large number of tractor trailers already speed through that area.

Obviously this light was put up because there was, and is a major need for it! Traffic is only getting worse and Main St. is impossible to pull out on!

I can't image no traffic light there, It's very hard to get in and out with it. Removing it will be a accident waiting to happen.

we needed but that but light over 30 yrs ago.. Now rt 25 us even worse. please.. It's only be making it safer for all of us. I purposely go out of my way to go to a traffic light to make myself and children grandchildren and parent and my brother safely get home The money has already been spent. Leave the light...!!!

If anyone has ever tried to make a left turn from at this intersection, you know why it was installed! The road has a sensor that is only activated when a vehicle approaches allowing residents and business patrons to safely turn onto Route 25. Please keep this light in place to allow safe navigation of Monroe streets! If you can attend the the town meeting at the Town Hall on May 29th at 7pm, please do, your voice is important!
