How can you remove a light that was already funded for repair in 2018? I spent 13 years working in Monroe and still shop there. This light is vital to public safety & slows the speeding traffic on #25.

Hi.. That is a busy intersection especially when school buses come. When you come out of the residential street and Mason’s it’s very hard to turn onto Route 25, if the light wasn’t there I’d still be waiting. Seriously people drive fast and not very many people say Hey!.. you want to turn onto Route 25? Here I’ll slow down go ahead.. Please keep the light. Thank you

Help Monroe small business, don’t do something that would hinder that success. That light helps not only the people coming out of Mason’s Market but also Allows the residents coming down the mountain an ease of passage to get on to 25.

I am not from this area but travel down with my fiancé and her kids to see her dad in Monroe and feel if they remove this light it will be a great safety concern for us and everyone who travels that route.

The safety that light provides is necessary. If there needs to be a traffic flow change, perhaps consider programming the light to become a flashing light from a specific time of night to a specific time in the morning.

This light is so important for the safety of residents turning on to Rte 25 AND to keep tractor trailer traffic close to posted speed limits. Without this light the distance between stop lights will be quite long and speeding cars and large number of tractor trailers already speed through that area.

This intersection is very dangerous. Keep the light.

Maybe make the light shorter! Please don’t take it away! Cars fly down the road and I fear for my teen drivers! Not cool!
