The intersection at Adams Street and Hancock Street is very dangerous. I often travel this way and have had many near-miss accidents. Please do the right thing and prevent a real tragedy from happening someday.

Traffic seems to be dragging down so many Lexington locations. I we can all unite at some point in making some changes.

Lowell St by Harrington is a dangerous place and it is a school zone. I have witnessed many accidents and near misses. Very few people obey the school zone speed limits all school zones should have flashing yellow lights when kids are arriving or leaving the school.

Hill Street is another location that needs to be made safer for children, pedestrians, and bikers. The traffic is here - it is not going away - and we need to build the infrastructure to deal with it.

This is a widespread problem across town - the speed and volume of traffic on Hill St coupled with lack of a sidewalk are making this street too dangerous for children, other pededtrians and cyclists.

Has anyone tried reporting a bad intersection like the one Tracy Horn mentioned but to no avail?

Similar efforts needed on roads in East Lexington--Anthony Road in particular is dangerous because it's so short and cars speed around the corners without stopping, and there are school bus stops (elementary, middle and high) on either end. Also, most cars at the Albemarle/Rawson intersection don't signal, making it especially dangerous for pedestrians.

Better enforcement of the speed limits on Hancock & Adams Streets and increased signage may encourage passer thoughs to be more respectful of our/our children's neighborhood.

Though not an abutter, I do tend to the island at the intersection of Hancock and Adams, so am frequently there. I witness cars speeding and failing to come to a complete stop, and sometimes feel unsafe working there. Perhaps a blinking red light would alert drivers to heed the stop sign. Also, an arrow on Hancock pointing to the Adams as cars head into town would prevent some of the delayed (and wrong) left turns I've seen.

I like the reduced speeds/T-intersection concept.
