I find it to be extremely interesting that the very people who stood against safe injection sites, and drugs like Ed Rendell are bow front runners in the efforts to establish them throughout the city. It’s despicable, appalling, and to plainly state it, disgusting.

I grew up in Kensington and saw enough human destruction from drug abuse. The clinic will be an excuse for addicts to wander our neighborhood. It’s all downhill from there.

We definitely don't need this kind of problem in our small Lansdowne neighborhood.

We don’t want this center in our neighborhood. La Asiane is a relatively safe place to live with lots of families and children. We do not want addicts, thieves and criminal activity here around our children!

We don't want a drug center, using drugs to somehow get people to stop using drugs. And neighboring towns don't want it either.

We can not ignore that people from every income class have fallen victim to this problem, but (a) I believe RCofA is a for profit business, there are inherent problems with this mission statement, (b) methadone is addictive in itself, (c) 800 patients is excessive to say the least and (d) most importantly, this is smack in the middle of a residential neighborhood. This is not right ... and while this property has been empty, and the Land Lord should have a right to a paying tenant, perhaps the residents can come up with a way to make it a community center for seniors, or attract a company like an Oak Street Health, or an Absolute Care > companies that offer seniors on Medicare a wellness and community center. Thank you, ljc

I am opposed to this center. I do not want this type of center near my neighborhood at all. There are other, more needed improvements needed then to add something that would draw the wrong crowd. Find another area that it would fit in. NOT LANSDOWNE!

NO, don't allow this. Taxes are already ruining property value. Proposed increase of raising school tax. Afamily safe environment is slowly decreasing. Schools are not managed effectively. Why do we want to invite drug addicts while maybe trying to recover who will be preyed upon an influx of drug dealers, theft, crime and other illicit activity.

Please, man. So many schools in the area. Look at the amount of youth that roam around AT ANY TIME. This is really a baffling move, to be honest. In a five mile radius, there are kindergartens, grade schools, and high schools. I don’t speak on much, but..... NOT IN MY COUNTY. NO.

People don’t understand that we deal with the public all day long when we go home we want peace an quite an not have to worry about the the place down the street if we wanted to live by a place like that we would have bought our house near one in the first place!! No I approve of this going on in our neighborhoods. Thanks MM
