I need my land line to keep in contact with my elderly aunt & uncle so therefore how will this work for people that don't have a mobile phone.

The only way I can speak to my mum is on her land line. Iis hers and a lot more people life line.. leave things alone

I have been changed over to digital and so I have cancelled my home phone. If I could have an analogue phone I would happily pay for this

An absolute MUST to keep landlines going - how can such a decision be taken without consultation with those who do not have a mobile phone?

Some medical emergency alarms are linked to landlines and will be disconnected if they go digital. Is this another attempt to cull the 'useless eaters'?!

We should have a choice as a consumer. Being Electro sensitive wired cooper telephones are the best to use.

Landlines are a lifeline to some and to remove the option is taking away the independence and safety of many!

My eighty two year old mother who lives on her own doesn't use a mobile phone. Her only way of contacting me or other family members, especially in an emergency is by using her landline phone!

If I have a power cut my landline still works. I live alone so this is very important to me. I am also electrosensitive, so I do not want to be constantly bombarded by wi-fi as it makes me feel ill. If this is implemented, I'm going to be completely isolated and won't be able to work.

I needed emergency assistance during a 4 day power cut and was totally reliant on my landline phone
