Please keep our landlines. They are so necessary and a life line to so many of us. We should have the choice. They are also a very important part of our history.

This is brilliant. Who is this going to? When did it start and when will it be submitted?

We need access to non internet communication methods..The internet is subject to breakdowns and intermittent service. This will be compounded if everyone expected to make phone calls through it. I also think phone prices need to be more reasonable again.

Land lines are absolute lifelines not only for many older people but for all who very wisely limit their exposure to wireless communications: a growing population of educated consumers well-read in the growing peer-reviewed precautionary science. Please conserve this precious, non-toxic, and invaluable resource.

Please do not get rid of our landlines as we feel safer having one.

Many elderly don’t own or know how to use mobile phones. Landlines are essential also when there’s a power cut.

I don't have a mobile by choice and don't want to be dependent on internet! If that goes down at least there is the landline! Don't pull the plug on our reliable, secure, high quality analogue copper landline telephone network!

There are many people who don't have mobiles or easy access to the internet. What will the elderly do or don't they matter. Life is expensive and people are going to have to choose between heat and food. Don't discriminate.

My elderly housebound father needs his land line to stay in touch with his family. You get rid of the landline and he loses all contact. Save the land lines

Leave landlines in operation. Older folk and less technical folk rely on them.

Why would anyone think this was a good idea.
They are mostly reliable, not like mobiles if you can't get a signal.
The elderly and vulnerable need landlines...they won't be able to fathom out new technology, and why should they.
This is absolutely absurd!
