SAVE OUR LANDLINES: Help us maintain full access to our well-established and vital copper landline network.

Landlines are the only reliable means of communicating in a power cut! Do you really want to de-resource people and make communities less resilient by eliminating them? And for many electrosensitive people they are the only means of communicating with friends and family. Is it right to discriminate against this large and growing sector of society? Rethink this incredibly bad idea please.

Traditional land lines must be kept!

You need landlines when calling overseas for lengths of time. Doing this on a mobile gives me a headache. Also doing away with landlines is discriminatory against older people as many older people don't have mobiles and can't work them if they do have them.

I want to keep my landline. Having internet based phones means using more energy and more expense. I switch my router off at night and when I don’t need it. This means I may not receive emergency calls.

The broadband service provided is NOT good enough to rely on for Digital Voice/Internet phone calls. especially in an emergency. If there were to be a major power outage we would have no means of contacting anyone.

Landlines are a vital part of our society especially the elderly who don’t have internet or mobile phones.

Lots of disabled people, like me, depend on our landlines as they are attached to our community care alarm if we need help.

Landline telephones are detrimental to the elderly who don't use mobile phones, and they rely on their landline phone to keep in touch with family and friends, the government should never have a say in how we the people communicate, and big tech shouldn't have a say either, they are going too far, they don't rule any of the people. Leave our landline phones.

It should be a choice to keep a separate way of communication. I do not trust the inter net for phone calls . Many EMS people can not use smart phones.

Just save the landlines please

Appalled & horrified that this is even being thought of..landlines are a lifeline..especially in rural areas, not to mention health problems with the use of mobiles.I do not consent.

I have two disabled family members who need their landlines.

Yes this important for freedom against all the extra wavelengths being used against us

I make most phone calls by landline as a friend of mine got a brain tumour and is convinced it was caused by radiation from his mobile phone.

Phones need to be kept! Many elderly etc only know how to use phones .. stop trying to change our way of life!

The future is not a digital one the future is a free world for free people we need to make a stand and say No more to this corruption.
