SAVE OUR LANDLINES: Help us maintain full access to our well-established and vital copper landline network.

A landline can definitely be a lifeline, especially if you have a faulty mobile phone, or none at all - an essential back-up.

A landline is essential for my rural location. I am not able to rely on fibre, nor on satellite. It is also a hwealthy communication medium for my electro-sensitive friends.

Do NOT agree that these should be removed.

Personally, I need a landline as I’m electro sensitive but what about those without internet connection, they would not be able to communicate with family, friends and especially the emergency services if landlines are discontinued

Really resent everyone being forced to be at the mercy of the new technology.

It is high time the Governments and Cellular Industry inform the truth to the Citizens of the world and inform the Proof of No Harm

Landlines also provide security of communications during power failure and war.

A landline is imperative for so many people that do not use mobile phones or when mobile networks go down.

I need my landline. There's no good reason to terminate this service.

I can't believe you want to destroy a reliable communications network for the sake of making small savings, while the the top management makes a killing by boosting their bonuses.

The alternative will be wired, but it will be an internet connection, which means nothing during a power cut or poor substitution. There are also question marks around the increased EMR output of not fibre itself, put its conversion points.

As a professional planner who looks at risks and issues related to disaster recovery and business continuity, I must say that this planned discontinuation of copper landlines is very dangerous. Very short-sighted.

Landlines are important for safety, resilience, choice and reliability. Removal of landlines is clearly a step on the road to digital enslavement. We must resist it.

I USE my landline but I do not use my mobile phones. I call other people on their landlines MORE than I call mobile phones. If there is a choice, I go with the landline. I HATE mobile phones.

I do not want to use my landline no internet or wireless products !

Please keep the landlines... I think they’re very much needed and an important part of everyone’s lives. Thank you.

Without a landline I would have no access to any telephone signal where I live so I do not use a mobile telephone for calls.

Please keep landlines safer to use than mobiles

We need to keep copper landline network. We do not want internet phone only.
