There will be a wired fibre connection, but it will not be working during power cuts and you will have to keep your modem on all the time if you want to be connected during the night as well. This is of course madness.... Please keep sharing this petition with all you know and beyond!

This is an essential public service. Mobile phone technology threatens the health of us all especially with the event of 5G. We should not be forced to have mobile phones.

Or be protected when connected? To be connected or not should be a choice.

Our landlines are an essential lifeline for many people, who would be completely cut off otherwise. Landlines are a simple and reliable technology, - not relying on electricity and therefore important for climate policy. It should form part of any government's sustainability agenda!

Landlines are not going. They will be provided in a different way. You will still be able to plug in a phone.

This is happening with companies like Virgin Media and CityFibre as well as Openreach. New properties only get fibre installed.

There will be a wired fibre connection, but it won't work during a power cut. Back-ups will be mobile or battery, not ideal to say the least. You will also have to keep your modem on all the time and the RF exposure is likely to be higher. This is why we need to keep analogue copper.... Please share this petition widely!

We need to keep landlines as a communication option of choice. It is still a vital communication medium for plenty.
