My mobile phone does not work inside the house either making calls or receiving them.

Landlines are imperative for older people, people with sensory (hearing / vision loss) or anyone with a cognitive disability who cannot manage a mobile phone.
Please keep landlines active.

Having read the UK Gov's independent advice regarding 3G and responded to to the UK Gov's public consultation on relaxing the planning laws with regard to 5G I feel very strongly that landlines should continue to be an option, not just now but in the future when more people wake up to the dangers of wireless technology.

Common sense says, do not take chances with phone lines, that are needed for emergency services hospital information and communication. If for any reason the grid goes down. Landlines will be our only hope.

There is nothing wrong with the landline system, nor the internet connected via the landline. I absolutely do not want to be surrounded by EMRs 24/7. I turn my internet on as and when needed, then off. I do not want to be in my home surrounded by what I consider to be, and many scientists say, unsafe levels of RFs.
