Landlines are still very useful for emergencies, for prefering longer calls not connected to the potentially harmful exposure to EMF on mobile phones, and also as a back up measure in the event of power cuts, WiFi outages or mobile phone not working. They are also vital for those without mobile phones, eg more elderly people who find it harder to use technology.

I may need a landline due to ever increasing electromagnetic radiation hypersensitivity with ever more frequencies being sold, with 5g introduction I feel terrible. My house my need to go back to ethernet and landline,no mobiles

I'm elderly with dementia and this is the only way of contacting my daughter and family in emergencies the hubby too , we need these can't work mobile phone

This is another attempt to get everyone using mobile phones so they can introduce the social credit score and cdbc and have ultimate surveillance and control over the population. Their plans cannot work if people don’t have a mobile phone.
