SAVE OUR LANDLINES: Help us maintain full access to our well-established and vital copper landline network.

We need to save the landline! When the landlines go we leave our fate in the hands of the Internet companies and that leaves up open to hacks and viruses as the Internet still isn't safe enough!

We older people have no connection in a power cut without landlines!! Also we don’t all have good interest connection!

Lots of people have no other way to communicate as things are going there will be thousands more in the same position having to drop their mobile connections…no money…it’s a disgrace there are lots of elderly who rely on them…perhaps you are cutting your nose to spite your face…

There are many people who only use landlines & they are a good backup. What would happen when techknowledgy fails, we need our land lines.

I need to keep my land line for health reasons

We all need our landlines they are lifelines and an existing obligation for suppliers to allow communication for we the people. NB. Consumer Protection (BT) and C5 on their website re Vulnerable customers is a minimum of provision necessary and a choice for customers, and adequate notice of any proposed changes to allow knowledge of these. We wish to have an analogue copper landline available without having to pay an extrar £10 monthly fee (£120 pa)on top of our broadband amounts ( esp for ) over 60's. Our landline went dead one day without prior notice, in middle of an existing contract. Hypersensitivity to electronics and impact on health is also of primary health concern here.

I do not like our technology it’s all against humans keep our analogue phone

Mobile phones give me a headache and I worry about the level of radiation from them. Without my landline I will be unable to make calls.

Defending our analogue landlines is absolutely essential. We must resist the transition to compulsory wireless communication at all costs.

Keeeping land lines is a MUST.

Only big tech will benefit if we give up our landlines. Landlines could be our lifeline one day.

If my landline is moved to digital I shall ditch my phone, nternet, TV provider completely. Digital lines are unreliable and do not work 24/7. Also fire risk leaving hub on when away from home. Mine was getting red hot snd could have set a fire. One power outage and/or internet down and you are left without a landline. Wireless calls frequently drop out, just wonderful when you've been queuing for 40mins to get through to a company and the line drops.

I do not agree with the removal of land lines!

For many years, have used, and depend on, a landline and intend doing so; its analogue copper phone network is reliable, secure and healthier than the effects from WiFi and EMFs of mobile phones.
