Landlines are vital in emergencies and for those with electromagnetic sensitivity and vulnerable people. Secure, reliable and clear sound!

I don't want wi-fi, I don't want mobile technology, I don't want VOIP, I want to keep my landline.

Without a landline people will be unable to contact lifesaving emergency services in a power cut . Also unable to contact relatives. It is inevitable that people will die

We will do all to fight for people like you, as well as all others who simply do not want to be forced on this unreliable and harmful technology. Anyone reading this, please share this Petition to the Moon and back!

I'm a diabled pensioner with exclusive access to landlines. I cannot afford to use a computerised VOIP and do not know nor desire to know how to use a computer, mobile phone or the Internet. I have a serious disability that prevents me using these technologies. This post is being entered on my behalf by a friend who knows computing.

What happens to people who don’t want to use a mobile because of its detrimental effects on people

I ABSOLUTELY WANT TO KEEP MY LANDLINE and ALL LANDLINES going. This is supposed to be a democratic society and we shouldn't be forced to rely on mobile phones. My landline is ESSENTIAL to me

Dismantling landlines will cost us safety, health as well as jobs and cut off critical emergency communications access to millions of people. We must defend our landlines from unscrupulous telecom companies and governments.

I prefer the landline simply because I'm not tempted to use mobiles outside of the house. Proper conversations should be home on landlines. Mobiles for emergency use only.

Wireless is harmful; to Humans and Wildlife. We need good, reliable wired connections, not more radiation.

I do not want a smart phone and am very wary of EMF pollution. Thank God for landlines!

If power goes down, landlines still work and we have access to essential services. The internet goes down with the power. Keeping the landlines is a safe, thoughtful way to move forward, keeping infrastructure that we already have makes economic sense. 100years ago we ripped up tram lines all over london because the new “car” was in, and now we realize that trams would be cheaper and greener and provide more transport for people, but re-laying tracks is prohibitively expensive. Learn from our past short-sightedness and keep landlines in place as they provide essential services.
