I have lived on Innsbruck Ct since 1975. Butler Lake has been a Libertyville Treasure that has been abused, neglected and cancelled. It is a crime to ignore this natural beauty that so many of us have enriched our lives by walking around it, ice skating on it in the winter at with hot chocolate at the Crawford Warming House, meeting our neighbor as we stop to get to know each other, for the natural habitat that lives on Butler, and so much more. Please join us in making a commitment to restoring Butler Lake. Thank you!

As a shoreline owner on Duck Lake in Ingleside, IL we have a vested interest in restoring and maintaining the lake. We would like Lake County to provide greater resources and support to help small lakes like ours be sustainable and healthy in perpetuity. Attention always seems to go to the larger lakes (ala Chain of Lakes) and those in more affluent areas.

Butler Lake is such a wonderful asset to our community. We visit it in spring to see migrating. Birds and drive by at other times just to enjoy its beauty.
