The Lake Dallas Library serving Lake Dallas, Shady Shores, and the surrounding area is central to many residents' connection to the local community. It's come to light that the Lake Dallas city council is considering permanently closing the library. Please join us by signing this petition to keep it open and if you're willing, please consider also doing one or both of the following: 1) write a letter to the city (PublicRelations@lakedallas.com or 212 Main Street Lake Dallas, TX 75065) ; 2) consider coming to and maybe even speaking at either the town hall (June 18th) or the actual council meeting on Thursday (June 23rd at 7pm). ***Note: I'm not affiliated in any official manner with the library nor the city.
