For over 100 years my family has lived in this County. Pretty soon any there will be nothing left for the public to go enjoy. This is just enough. We the people must stand up for our rights. The we need to come together as a community and fight and stop the tyranny that is over taking our County! Lets peacefully stand together at a protest on the Court House Side walk and shoow them we mean business. A few rich have taken over what was once wild and free of all their homes. A developer bought out the one Resort for locals to play at the lake. Then he some how got it ddivided up and sold lots for homes, condo's. Houses of the rich have taken almost every public access to the lake. It is a public lake and this County sold us out and took the right to use almost all of this lake. Its time to say no more. This is a public lake for everyone. NOT JUST THE RICH AND THEIR FAMILIES.

The lake is perfect the way it is

Wakesurfing and water skiing behind ballast boats on Lake Sutherland has been a major part of upbringing on the Olympic Peninsula. It would be tragic to take away one of the major activities on this lake and especially given that a large portion of boats and boat owners on this lake have ballast boats.

Young kids and families thrive off of the fun at Lake Sutherland. Many of us have been swimming and playing there for decades, and we shudder to think that boats could be banned knowing that wake sports are the way of the future for water sports. This is a bit reminiscent of when they wouldn't allow snowboards on the ski hills at first. We all care for Sutherland. Let's keep it great!

Wakesurfing is the best! Move off the lake if you don’t like boats

People have the right to use public waterways for their leisure. A small group of residents cannot dictate policy for a public waterway.

The solution is not issuing a ban, it’s with enforcement. This lake draws a large number of revenue from tourism. Stop allowing small groups to dictate the use of property for others.
